State Attorney Bill Eddins today announced that John “Jack” H. Sanborn of Milton has been charged with a non-criminal violation of the Florida Government in the Sunshine Law.

The allegations are that Sanborn, a member of the Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council, discussed matters which foreseeably could come before that organization with another council member outside a public meeting.

This violation is punishable by a maximum fine of $500.

Sanborn has a December 5 court date at Santa Rosa County Courthouse.
