Santa Rosa Commissioner in line to become Florida Association of Counties President

Santa Rosa County District 4 Commissioner Rob Williamson on June 29 is expected to be formally named 2nd Vice President of the Florida Association of Counties, putting him in line to become FAC President.

Williamson was the sole qualifying candidate for the 2nd Vice President position at the close of the qualifying period on May 15.

The 2nd Vice President election and election of other FAC officers will take place Friday, June 29, 2018 in Orange County as a part of FAC’s Annual Business meeting during the association’s annual conference. 

Current FAC 1st Vice President Nick Maddox was the sole qualifying candidate for FAC President-Elect, and current FAC 2nd Vice President Melissa McKay is the only candidate who qualified for FAC 1st Vice President.
