In order for Santa Rosa County parents and employees to make safe and timely preparations for the arrival of Hurricane Michael, the Santa Rosa County School District would like to release the following information.
• District schools will operate on its posted Early Release schedule on Tuesday, October 9th. All school related activities on Tuesday must be concluded by 5:00 pm. https://sites.santarosa.k12.fl.us/files/startdismiss.pdf
• District schools will be closed on Wednesday, October 10th . A decision regarding school related afternoon and evening activities for Wednesday will be made during the day on Wednesday.
• A decision on school operation for Thursday, October 11th will be announced on Wednesday.
Please continue to monitor the district website and local media outlets for updates, as any change to the current forecasted track will necessitate changes to the current plan of action.
