Santa Rosa Grand Jury Issues Two Indictments

State Attorney Ginger Bowden Madden announces that the newly impaneled Grand Jury for Santa Rosa County, FL, have issued the following two indictments for prosecution:

Hakeem Denarious Peterson has been charged with First Degree Felony Murder and Robbery Armed with a Firearm for the robbery at the Tom Thumb convenience store on Glover Lane in Milton and the shooting death of the employee on duty on September 15th, 2020. The case was investigated by the Milton Police Department.  Peterson’s next court date is March 17, 2021.

Jerry Savory Phillips, Jr., has been charged with the First Degree Premeditated Murder with a Firearm of Felecia Kuswandy on Phillips’ family’s property near Jay in Santa Rosa County on or about November 12th, 2017.  The case was investigated by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.  Phillips’ next court date is January 20, 2021.
