Catherine Minshull, founder of the #SaveTheBreeze effort to plan activities to help Gulf Breeze businesses survive closure of Pensacola Bay Bridge, met yesterday with City of Gulf Breeze leaders. Minshull says the City is supportive and working with her on a Halloween kick-off event.
“The Halloween Kick Off Event is still in the planning stages. We met with City Officials yesterday. More information to come. We will post updates along the way. But get your costumes ready,” she said.
At this time plans are underway to host a Halloween festival for families, allowing impacted businesses selling products and food at the event, which may take place at Gulf Breeze High Football stadium or somewhere else along Daniel Drive, said Minshull.
Minshull said it will be the first of several events and that Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s events may also be possible.
