Silver Airways non-stop flights to Orlando starts tomorrow

Posted on May 16, 2019 by Staff reports

Silver Airways tomorrow will start providing daily nonstop service between Orlando International Airpot and Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport.

As part of the inaugural ceremony, Silver Airways will present a donation to the new invisible wounds center site, which has recently set up shop on Eglin Air Force Base. The center works with military personnel who are suffering from PTSD.

In addition to the nonstop service connecting Northwest Florida and the Panhandle to Central Florida, the new route also provides convenient connections to Silver’s network throughout Florida and the Bahamas, as well as a variety of destinations throughout the U.S. through Silver’s codeshare and interline ticketing partners, including United, American and Delta who currently operate at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport.

“We are so excited to serve the many men and women serving our country who work and live in the Destin-Fort Walton Beach area,” said Silver Airways Senior Vice President Kurt Brulisauer. “We’re also very much looking forward to providing an additional high-demand route for business, leisure and military travelers between Northwest and Central Florida, which isn’t available with any other airline.”
