STATE AUDIT FINDS NO FRAUD, WASTE, ABUSE OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY: The City of Milton has received the final report from the State Auditor’s Office, marking the conclusion of the operational audit.
The City released the following statement:
“We are pleased to reiterate that no instances of fraud, waste, abuse, or illegal activity were identified. With this chapter behind us, the City is committed to implementing the corrective actions outlined in our response plan.”
The State Auditor’s Office will return in 18 months to review the progress of corrective actions.
