Tax Collector returns more than $583K in unspent revenues to county

Santa Rosa County Tax Collector Stan Colie Nichols on October 25 gave back unspent revenue totaling $583,106.19 to various taxing authorities, representing the citizens of Santa Rosa County.

“One of the great pleasures of serving as your Santa Rosa Tax Collector is to return to the (board of county commissioners) its proportionate share of the unspent revenues generated by the operations of our office,” Nichols said.

Below is a Breakdown for each taxing authority:

Board of County Commissioners $565,007.86
Holley/Navarre Fire District $7,386.14
Avalon Fire District $1,546.87
Midway Fire District $8,344.74
NW FL Water Management District $820.58
