Waste Pro Regional Vice President Ralph Mills today presented Santa Rosa County with a $275,000 franchise fee, which is presented annually as part of the company’s collections agreement to have the ability to collect solid waste within the County.

The company states it has been a proud partner of Santa Rosa County for more than a decade and is the only franchised solid waste hauler in the County to contribute a franchise fee.

Waste Pro projects that over the next five years it will pay approximately $2 million to the County in franchise fees.

“I was honored to present this annual franchise fee to the County today,” said Mills. “We put our money where our mouth is when we say we care for our communities. We live and work here, and I am proud to be a part of this community.”
