May is Military Appreciation Month. The Greater Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce and Navarre Area Board of Realtors teamed up April 27 to host a Military Appreciation Breakfast at Hurlburt Field Soundside Club. Special guests included Lt. Gen. Brad Webb, Commander of U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command, Brig. Gen. Chris Azzano, departing commander of Eglin AFB, and Command Chief MSgt Greg Smith, AFSOC.
Lt. Gen. Webb told attendees it’s “hogwash” that military personnel grow tired of being thanked for their service, and he said the local community is especially supportive of military. “We know you’ve got our back,” Webb said.
