    Although Tropical Depression 16 is forecast to become Tropical Storm Nate later today or tonight and strengthen into a hurricane soon thereafter, the European modeling maps by Meteorologist Ryan Maue indicate the storm will make landfall east of our area. Residents should continue to monitor the storm. The next advisory is at 1 p.m. CST.
